Queens Excelled in CBSE Sahodaya Senior Bal Vigyan Project Competition

Our queens excelled in Sahodaya Inter School Sr. Bal Vigyan Project Competition-2017-18 by winning Best Performance Award in three subjects i.e. Biology, Commerce and Chemistry. On Friday, September 08,2017 the Queens of Class XII, under the coordination of  their teacher Ms.Shweta Jain, visited the IIM Indore campus to see and hear about the different avenues in Management Discipline open for them after Class XII. The program was very informative and was a good learning experience.

In a joint venture to promote culture and Indian heritage Queens’ college was a witness to unfolding of magical event of Spic Macay today.  We were honoured to have veteran Kathak Dancer and exponent Smt. Divya Goswami to teach the students about the ancient old dance customs of Kathak.  She was accompanied by Shri. Zakir Hussain Varshi and Farhaz Ahmed at the instrument.  She won the hearts of the audience by simple tradition of namaskar and used bilingual language to make her message clear.  The presentation started with Ganesh Vandana and highlighting Lord Ganesha’s physical attributes with appropriate mudras.  The expert also imparted invaluable lesson on Matras and Tals.  There was a beautiful blend between beats of tabla and foot work of the dancer mesmerizing all present there.  The students were asked to guess the animals from the mudra of the dance.


It is said Love begets Love hence there was an apt ending to the show with recreation of Radha Krishna Rasleela. Our esteemed Guests were honoured by the Mrs. Renu Gurnani Principal with a memento as token of love from the Queens Family.  It served to be Guru Dakshina to the great gurus of Art.

iLeothon Quiz : Queens Won II Prize in Creativity Round of Quiz -2017

Our creative queens won Second Prize in Creative Round of iLeothon Quiz-2017 among 45 school's participants. They presented a model on waste management with unique ideas on the spot  in the competition.


Inter School Radio Show Competition  on Helarious Act  : Queens Won Best Performance Award

Our Creative Queens Aadya Sharma , Nikita Solanki, Vaidehi Joshi and Khushi Saluja won Best Performance Award in an Inter School Radio Show Competition on Helarious Act  held at Choithram School on August 31, 2017.



Paragee Raghuwanshi  : Best Hindi Debater 

August 28,2017


An Inter School Hindi Debate Competition was organized at Holker Science College, Indore on August 28,2017 on the topic "Notebandi Se Bharat Ki Aarthik Sthiti Main Sudhar Hota Hain". Our Excellent Orator  Paragee Raghuwanshi clinched the First Prize against the motion under the guidance of mentors MS. Meena Pawar and Ms Archana Sharma. She was awarded by the Indore Collector Shri Parikipandla Narahari with a cash prize of Rs.5,100/- along with trophy and a certificate.

Mahak Gur : Secured 5th Rank in Gurukul Exam Organized by Nai Duniy Press

An Inter School Written Test "Gurukul" was organized by Nai Duniya Press in the month of November-2016  and the result was declared on August 28,2017.  Mahak Gur secured 5th Rank and awarded with a certificate and Pen Drive in the competition.

Our  excellent orators Shreya Patel and Vaidehi Joshi won First Prizes in both favour and against the motion for an Inter School Debate Competition held at Sarafa Vidya Niketan on August 15, 2017. The topic of the debate was "Vartamaan Paridrashya main Yuvaon Ki Aazadi Ke Badalte Mayane Samaj Ke Vikas Main Sadhak Hain".

Inter School Hindi & English Debate Competition at Pritamlal Dua Sabhagrah : Won II Prize in both categories

Our  prolific orators Khushi Barnwal and Ananta Barvey won second prize in an Inter School Debate Competition held at Pritamlal Dua Sabhagrah and at the same place our excellent orators Roshni Rajani and Shriya Patel won second prize.

Commemoration of  70th Anniversary of  Independence of Our Country & 75th Annuversary of Quit India Movement 

August 15,2017


On the momentous occasion of 70th Anniversary of Independence  of the country  and 75th Anniversary of Quit India Movement  , our school Queens’ College, Indore organized a pledge taking ceremony on 15th August, 2017, in which all the staff members and the students of the school  had taken pledge in the school premises to make India  clean and rid the country from the problems of  poverty , corruption , terrorism , communalism and casteism  in the next five years i.e.  when the nation completes  75 years of its independence  in 2022.




Along with this our school also organized a “Painting Competition “ on the theme of “Independence Movement “  to commemorate the occasion on  18th August,2017 for the students of classes VI to X. The best paintings chosen were displayed  on the school notice board.



Students Witnessed Live Surgery  “Roving Robot “  done by Robot at Medanta Hospital
July 18,2017


Science (PCB) Stream Student of Class XI & XII visited Medanta Hospital in July 18 ,2017  to observe a latest and  expensive   surgical technology  in medical science. It is known as “Roving Robot”. Instead of manual surgery a robot with more precision, less incision, less blood loss and  less pain can be used for the same.

Radhika Lakhotiya : First Prize Winner in NCFE (NFLAT ) Competition


Our brilliant queen Radhika Lakhotiya bagged the First Position in Central Level National Financial Literacy Assessment Test (NCFE-NFLAT) Organized by NFLAT at Bombay. She was awarded with a Certificate, Medal & Tablet for the same.


Queens' College Take Big Strikes


20016-17 were glorious historic years in the history of Queens’ College. The College was judged as the Best Girls’ School in MP. In January,2017 the college was bestowed with the Best Institution in India by Jury’s Choice of Education Today.

Fifteen Queens participated in iLeothon Quiz Contest organized by Leo Club at Satya Sai Vidya Vihar with great zeal and enthusiasm. They have qualified the first level and received Silver Medals, gifts and certificates in the second level of the Quiz.

An Inter School English Debate Competition was organized at Colonel's Academy under the aegis of Sahodaya Schools Complex. Our outstanding orators Ananta Barve and Somya Satwani won the Best Performance Award in the competition.


Inter School English Debate Competition : Queens' Won Overall Championship Trophy


Our excellent orators Somya Satwani and Vividha Patni participated in the Inter School English Debate Competition which was held on August 26th, 2016 at Indore Public School (IPS). Out of 30 prestigious schools, Queens’ College won the Overall Best Performance Award and a Running Trophy by winning the prize in against and for the motion both.
