Visit to Choithram Mandi

Students visited Choithram Mandi in the early hours of the day to meet the vegetable sellers and fruit sellers using polythene. They counselled the sellers and the customers using polythene and gifted them hand-made paper bags and cloth bags in order to avoid using polythene. A comparative analysis of using plastic bags and eco-friendly bags was discussed with the people. Students also sang self composed jingles on “Say No to Polythene”.
Visit to Shri Shri Narsingh Guruji Maharaj Asram

Queens’ College Indore organized a tree plantation drive for students of class X A. they visited Shri Shri Narsingh Guruji Maharaj Asram at Devguradia on 15.10.19 to sensitize students towards preservation of environment and ecology. During this drive around 50 saplings were planted around the area of Devguradia to raise awareness and consciousness about environment among the masses. Students prepared posters with slogans to save planet earth. This mega initiative was an effort to protect environment and conserve trees which are on deterioration at an alarming level. The drive extended substantial knowledge of environment and plants to students.
Visit to Old Age Home

Students of class XII C visited an old age home, Amar Sewa Ashram at Dwarkapuri, Indore to meet and spend their time with the elderly parents.
To break the monotony of the inmates’ lives, students presented a few songs, bhajans and a dance for them and also made them sing and dance that helped them forget at least for time being, the sorrows of not having their loved ones around. Meanwhile, the other students encouraged grandpas and grandmas to come up and play Antakshari .This rejuvenated their drooping spirit and filled the old hearts with joy and contentment
Before leaving for school the students gifted plants and paintings made by them to the elderly parents as a token of their love and respect for them.
Visit to Jeevan Umang Chatrawas
10th October 2019
Students of class IX B visited “Jeevan Umang Chatrawas” situated in Bicholi Mardana on 10/10/2019. The purpose of visit was to create awareness among young girls about menstruation and importance of hygiene during menstruation, it highlighted various schemes of government under which cheap and safe sanitary napkins are made available
Ms. Kashvi Sharma and Ms. Kashish Pipaliya spoke on topic “Importance of hygiene during menstruation”, Ms. Mahi Mittal and Ms. Prarthana Jain spoke on topic “Facts and myths related to menstruation”, & Ms. Kumkum Nagar Spoke about “Various schemes of central government”
This activity is expected to improve sense of social; responsibility and citizenship skills among our students. The students will have enhanced interpersonal skills, especially ability to work with others, and build leadership and communication skills.
